‘Tu Chup Kar…’: Kangana Ranaut Recalls How Anurag Basu Trained Her For ‘Life In Metro’!

Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is one of the most sought-after heroines in the showbiz. She has completed 17 years in the film industry recently. While celebrating this special occasion, Kangana shared old memories with director Anurag Basu who gave her strict training during the shoot of the film ‘Life in Metro’.

Kangana who is quite active on Instagram dropped an Instagram story on the completion of 17 years of her film ‘Life In A Metro’. She shared a photo with Anurag where both of them are sitting on the sofa. Kangana is dressed up in a black outfit with her hair tied in a ponytail and Anurag, who is sitting in front of her, is spotted explaining something to her.

Talking about the back story related to her photo with Anurag, Kangana wrote, ‘Thank you to this mad genius Anurag Basu who launched me 17 years ago on 28 April 2006. This is a picture of him and me on Metro set (2006). This is how he trained me. ‘Tu Chup Kar’ is his favorite dialogue during training… Ha ha I love you Anu… Thank you for whatever you did for me.’

‘I was told that actresses have a shelf life of 4-5 years… Well, I completed 17 years of the film yesterday…’, added Kangana.

Kangana’s career

Kangana Ranaut stepped into Bollywood with thriller film ‘Gangster’ in 2006. In the following year, she appeared in ‘Life in a Metro’ which was a drama film directed by Anurag Basu. Apart from Kangana, Dharmendra, Nafisa Ali, Shilpa Shetty, KK Menon, Shiney Ahuja, Irrfan Khan, Konkona Sen Sharma and Sharman Joshi were also seen playing pivotal roles in this film.

Currently, Kangana is busy with her period drama ‘Emergency’. She also has ‘Tejas’, ‘Chandramukhi 2′, and Sita: The Reincarnation’ in her kitty.
