After much deliberation,TV actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee married her boyfriend Shanwaz Shaikh in a private ceremony in Mumbai, and she plans to introduce her husband to the world at a reception soon.

Devoleena and her partner had envisioned a simple wedding. They had been planning their wedding for a long time, and it was only getting delayed. They’ve been talking about taking their relationship to the next level for nearly two years. “And they finally took the plunge, and they are very happy,” says the insider.

She formalised the relationship with a court marriage in Mumbai on Wednesday, followed by an intimate gathering in Lonavala.”They had a Haldi ceremony last night, and only family and really close friends were invited. They went to Lonavala after the court marriage to spend time with their families. “Her boyfriend and his family were very modest and didn’t want a public wedding, so it was a private ceremony.” Devoleena was also seen crying after her marriage in a video.
