Along with this, the actress revealed how she had to be hospitalized during a show in the early days of her career because the EP of the show refused to change her shift timing. In a recent interview, when asked why television actors refuse to associate themselves with television after coming to Bollywood, while television has given them a lot. On this, Uorfi said that it is not television that gives recognition to the actor but it is their hard work. The actress further told how she fell ill on a television set and eventually had to be hospitalized.

The actress said, “It is not that TV alone gives everything, it is also the hard work of an actor. Working in TV is not easy, it also involves a lot of humiliation. Some production houses treat you very badly. I don’t want to glorify TV, TV has given me everything, but TV is not God.”

Uorfi further said, “I have cried a lot while being on TV. I was new to television and was doing a show, I don’t even remember what that show was and I was very sick. The EP would give me a 7.30 AM shift every day and I kept requesting, telling him to give me a 10.30 AM shift. However, he told me that I have to come at the given time, otherwise they will throw me out of the show.” Sharing her experience, the actress further said, “Since I was new, I was very scared. I would reach the set at 7.30 AM and they would start my scene at 3.30 PM, I was really very sick. Finally, I had to be hospitalized.”
