The 95th Academy Awards are being hosted by Jimmy Kimmel at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. He was taken away from the room by the Naatu Naatu dancers during his monologue. Jimmy said, “This year we are not gonna play you off stage instead we have a group of performers from the movie RRR who are going to dance you offstage..” Later he called Rajamouli’s film RRR a “Bollywood movie”.

Nattu Nattu wins Best original song at the 95th Academy Awards. Audience gave Standing ovations to Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava at the Oscars for their performing of the Naatu Naatu song. Lauren Gottlieb, an actor and dancer, also performed to the music.
