Twitter Is Baffled By Vaani Kapoor’s Holding Of The Invisible Child In “Shamshera”

Shamshera has gained notoriety on social media for the wrong reasons almost a month after its theatrical debut. Recently, there appeared to be a mistake in the movie, which also starred Ranbir Kapoor, Vaani Kapoor, and Sanjay Dutt. Netizens posted images from the movie in which Balli, played by Ranbir, and Sona, played by Vaani, were carrying what appeared to be phoney babies.

The makers of the Karan Malhotra-directed film looked to have wrapped up a piece of fabric to simulate a newborn in viral stills from the film’s conclusion. A Twitter user shared a picture from Vaani Kapoor’s fight scene and said, “Excellent acting scene. Let’s simply suppose that she has a child in her hand, though.” “Uff that’s a major total rip for a 150 cr movie,” another remarked.

A third person commented, “I saw it last night and I observed this at the full climax that it’s so obvious that they are shooting sans baby, at a minimum they could edit and add baby face there.” Even though internet users agreed that Vaani shouldn’t have handled a real baby during the action scenes, many disagreed that the doll used was enough. One wrote: “These guys didn’t think it was necessary to buy at least a baby-sized toy and wrap it for our college stage performance. I’m in awe!”

In the movie Shamshera, a genuine baby is seen as Vaani gives birth to her kid under a tree despite being besieged by the British Army and the police who work for the villain Daroga Shuddh Singh (Sanjay Dutt). However, Vaani was seen carrying a grey cloth that floated around like there was nothing substantial below the neck in the film’s dramatic climactic scene, where Ranbir Kapoor’s character Balli arrives to fight for independence for his wife and child as well as the rest of his tribe. A doll’s head is apparent in one scene as Vaani’s Sona is shoved to the ground holding her child. A doll without any discernible facial features plays the role of the infant in the last scene, in which Ranbir is riding a horse with Vaani while holding his son attached to his chest.

On July 22, the movie Shamshera—in which Ronit Roy, Saurabh Shukla, and Iravati Harshe all played significant roles—was released in theatres. It recently debuted on Prime Video and struggled to do well at the box office.
