Recently, legendary filmmaker Yash Chopra’s wife Pamela Chopra bid adieu to this world. She succumbed to pneumonia. The last rites of Pamela saw all the big names from Bollywood coming to pay their last respects. Among all the stars who appeared at the funeral, one who grabbed eyeballs is Yash and Pamela’s younger son, Uday Chopra. The former actor made a public appearance after a long time and netizens were shocked to see him not in his best shape as he has put on a lot of weight.
Uday’s viral video
In the viral clip, Uday is spotted arriving in his car and greeting the media with folded hands. As soon as the visuals of the actor reached online, trolls began attacking him for his weight gain. One netizen mocked Uday and wrote, “Uday has put on lot of weight…V shaped 6 pack body seems to be missing.” Another stated, “Uday chopra is looking like beast Raino.” A third one penned, “Kitna mota hogya yeh kya hogya hai isko.”

Netizens react on Uday’s weight gain
While a section of viewers commented negatively on Uday’s overweight stature, some others came out in his support and schooled the trolls. A user said, “Guys Uday’s mother has passed away. So plz usko santwana nahi de saktey toh yaha uska majak mat udao. Show some humanity.” Another commented, “Insaniyat dekho insab ke. His mother has left for her heavenly abode and people in comments are busy criticising his physical appearance.”
Besides Uday, Shah Rukh Khan, Aryan Khan, Karan Johar, Rani Mukerji, Hrithik Roshan, Katrina Kaif, and Vicky Kaushal, among others were clicked reaching at Pamela’s funeral.
