Legendary singer Udit Narayan is synonymous with the voice of the 80s and the 90s film songs. Back in the time, he won millions of hearts with his melodies. The ace singer recently graced the sets of The Kapil Sharma Show with his contemporaries Anuradha Paudwal and Kumar Sanu.
The show has a massive fan following and audiences of the show wait eagerly for celebrity guests to come on the show and spill beans about their life. With Kapil Sharma on the show, the episode becomes all the way more interesting for viewers to watch. The trio of the veteran singers appeared on Sunday’s episode of the comedy show and they were seen engaging in fun banter with the host.
During the conversation, host Kapil Sharma asked Udit Narayan if his habit of wearing only a towel at home had changed after his son Aditya Narayan got married and brought home a “bahu”, Shweta Agarwal. The singer was quick with his reply. He revealed that it hasn’t changed. “I am a farmer’s son, this habit won’t go soon,” he said.
Kumar Sanu, who was also present there, reacted to this, and immediately jokingly remarked, “Being a farmer’s son, he hasn’t seen a farm but he has seen a towel.”
SonyTV shared the promo of the episode and captioned it as, “Kisaan ka beta hoon yeh kehkar, @uditnarayanmusic ji ne ghar mein towel pehne rehne ka achha bahana dhoondh nikala hai! Dekhiye #TheKapilSharmaShow, iss Shani-Ravi raat 9:30 baje, sirf Sony par.”
Last year, when Udit appeared on Kapil’s show with his wife and son, it was his son Aditya who had made this candid confession. He said his father roams around in a towel at home, leaving his father, Kapil, and everyone in splits.
