Udupi to Host Prestigious Women’s Tennis Tournaments This December

Two prestigious women’s tennis tournaments are being organized in Udupi this December at the world-class tennis courts of MAHE, MIT, KMC and Marena. The South Zone Inter-University Tennis Tournament for Women will be conducted at CUSAT from December 7 to 10 and the All India Inter-Zone Inter-University Tennis Tournament for Women will be organized from December 13 to 16.

South Zone Tournament: Road to nationals

The All India tournament will feature the top 38 teams, including host team MAHE Manipal, fighting it out at the South Zone Inter-University Tournament. It will see around 200 players, coaches and managers competing for this closely fought race.

National Level: All India Inter-Zone Tournament

In the All India tournament, 16 teams from 4 zones of India will participate. With the 100 players, coaches, officials, and managers who are expected to mix with the national stars, fierce competition will ensue as the best university sides in the land fight for national glory.

Cutting-edge venues, arrangements

The tennis courts from MIT, KMC, and Marena, which are the best possible court setup, will host the matches. MAHE has also taken care of the lodging for the participants in KMC and MIT hostels as well as the MAHE guest house.
