S. N Shrivastava was holding the additional charge of the commissioner of police in February 2020. Delhi has been appointed as the commissioner of police of the city and informed the Union Ministry of Home Affairs. He succeeded the outgoing Delhi Police Commissioner Amulya Patnaik.
“With the approval of competent Authority, S.N Shrivastava, IPS holding the additional charges of the commissioner of police, Delhi is hereby appointed to the post of commissioner of police. Delhi with effect from the date of the post and until further orders, the Ministry of Home Affairs said in its orders.
S.N Shrivastava shared a video on his Twitter account and wrote, “With the unlocking of Covid lockdown more vehicles are on the road.
