When he originally tested positive, genomic sequencing was used to identify the viral strain. His monoclonal antibody treatment began late on November 25 and that he had no signs the following morning, not even a minor temperature or myalgia.
Yesterday’s RT-PCR test for the doctor was positive. “It typically takes two weeks for test negative after this infestation, this could take me additional 2-3 days,” he stated. Only a negative RT-PCR result will allow him to be released after seven days of monitoring.
On how he got the virus, he maintains he didn’t know anybody who was Covid +ve. He was working at a hospital and believes he acquired this from a patient with travel history. He claims he tracked out possible connections. Except for two coworkers, everyone has come up negative.
