Recently Shah Rukh Khan was spotted in Vaishno Devi before the December 21 release of Dunki. His manager and bodyguards were seen with him during the pilgrimage. It was his 3rd visit to Vaishno Devi this year. It looks like he has made it a ritual to go to Vaishno Devi before every film release. It has been working for him so far too.

Bollywood superstar SRK spotted at Vaishno Devi for the 3rd time this year

A video shared by news agency PTI shows Shah Rukh, along with his entourage of bodyguards and managers, walking along the cobbled path of the holy shrine in Jammu. He chose to go fully incognito in his black puffer jacket with the hoodie on. His manager, Pooja Dadlani, was also seen with him on the pilgrimage. Shah Rukh’s Dunki is all set to release on December 21st. It is directed by Rajkumar Hirani. It looks like he is hoping to add another ₹1000 crore to the bank. The movie will clash in theatres with Prabhas’ Salaar. As has been the trend this year, Shah Rukh is not doing any promotional interviews or visits for his film.

 

SRK visited Vaishno Devi before the release of Pathaan

Previously, Shah Rukh paid a visit to Vaishno Devi on December 12, 2013, just before the release of Pathaan, his first film in four years. It went on to collect more than 1000 crores globally. Later that month, before Jawan’s release, he made another pilgrimage. The film grossed ₹1100 crore globally and remains the year’s biggest hit and one of the most successful Hindi films ever made.

Dunki will be released in theatres on December 21st. It has an ensemble cast, including Boman Irani, Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Vikram Kochhar, and Anil Grover, who play colourful characters with Shah Rukh Khan.
