Why is not anybody talking about the forthcoming regional elections, state elections and other municipal elections as to what is the level of oxygen supply in that area or in that state, in case there is a situation which is like that of in Delhi, after the elections of Bengal and the Mahakumbh. In one analysis Delhi remains to be the hub of transport for all states in the north. Pilgrims and people come to Delhi to its railway stations and ISBT. From there they gather transit to places like Haridwar, the Chardham yatra, and to the neighbouring states. The UP elections will be a nightmare to handle since it comes along with visits to holy places. There are no victims or diktats at the moment in place which restricts people or cautions them to visit holy places of any of the religion, by their religious leaders. It is their business and so shall it remain for times to come. Heavily intertwined with political campaigns and the politics of the region. It is high time that this year, various political – religious – Aastha wale people call upon their followers and ask them to remain safe and cautious about their lives and livelihoods.
Once the election campaigning starts in UP without any infrastructure of oxygen, medicine, hospitals, doctors, nurses, ambulances what we are going to foresee what we are going to see in the times to come will be nothing less than a catastrophe. Hence, it is appealed that the courts and the administration look at the present infrastructure and only then decide whether the state, the EC and the courts are ready to take the risk of the new election campaign for the state of Uttar Pradesh.
