Urvashi Rautela Faces Online Backlash For Paris Red Carpet Look

Bollywood actor Urvashi Rautela, known for her strong social media presence, recently found herself at the center of online criticism for her latest fashion choice. Attending an event in Paris, she shared a video of herself on the red carpet, but her outfit became a talking point among netizens.

Trolled for Outfit Choice

On Tuesday, Urvashi posted a video on Instagram showcasing her appearance at the event. She wore a black gown adorned with yellow 3D flowers, accessorized with long golden earrings and a crown. She styled her hair in a high ponytail and opted for a bold eye makeup look, featuring golden eyeshadow and black mascara. Sharing the clip, she captioned it in French, “Paris, always a good idea.”

However, her ensemble did not sit well with social media users, who quickly took to the comments section to express their opinions. One user remarked, “First Bollywood actress whose dress looks like a garden,” while another wrote, “First Asian to look like a junglee.” Others criticized the outfit’s design, with comments like, “This looks weird, not nice,” and “Isse better outfit Uorfi ke hain (Uorfi has better outfits than this).” Another user commented, “Sad, designers make anything for her.” Despite the wave of negative remarks, some fans appreciated her look and praised her beauty.

Recent Work and Controversy

Urvashi was last seen in the Telugu action drama Daaku Maharaaj, directed by Bobby Kolli and produced by Sithara Entertainments, Fortune Four Cinemas, and Srikara Studios. The film starred Nandamuri Balakrishna, along with Bobby Deol, Pragya Jaiswal, Shraddha Srinath, Sachin Khedekar, and Makarand Deshpande in pivotal roles.

The movie, however, faced controversy over its song Dabidi Dibidi, featuring Urvashi and Balakrishna. Viewers criticised its choreography, labeling it “vulgar.” Despite the backlash, Daaku Maharaaj performed well at the box office, grossing ₹125.8 crore worldwide.

As of now, Urvashi has not announced any new projects, keeping fans eager for updates on her next venture.
