Varun Dhawan, who will be shooting for his forthcoming film ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’ in Moscow starring Kiara Advani, uploaded videos from the set on Monday. The ‘Judwaa’ actor headed to Instagram and published a couple of stories in which he and Kiara were seen sitting in their car, ready to shoot in Moscow.
Directed by Raj Mehta of Good Newwz fame, the film marks Neetu Kapoor’s return to the big screen after seven years. Neetu Kapoor was last seen in Besharam, which featured her actor son Ranbir Kapoor and late husband Rishi Kapoor.
The romance drama, produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, and Apoorva Mehta, began filming in Chandigarh in December of last year. The film’s production was repeatedly delayed due to the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. Varun and Neetu tested positive for the infection during the shoot, which was one of the reasons the filming was put on hold for a while. ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo,’ which also stars Anil Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Maniesh Paul, and Prajakta Koli, is set to be released on June 24, 2022.
Meanwhile, Kiara Advani and Varun Dhawan, along with their wives Natasha Dalal, are said to be attending Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif’s wedding on December 9 in Rajasthan. Varun and Kiara, however, will not be attending the wedding because they are filming in Moscow.
Director Kabir Khan with his wife Mini Mathur, Ali Abbas Zafar, Karan Johar, Shashank Khaitan, Rohit Shetty, Alia Bhatt, Arpita Khan Sharma, Alvira Agnihotri, Farah Khan, and Sidharth Malhotra are among the other guests expected to attend the wedding.
On the Working front, Varun has Bhediya in the pipeline. Bhediya, directed by Amar Kaushik, stars Kriti Sanon, Deepak Dobriyal, and Abhishek Banerjee. Bhediya is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language comedy horror film directed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Dinesh Vijan, starring Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon, with Janhvi Kapoor and Flora Saini reprising their roles from the previous installments Roohi and Stree. Dinesh Vijan’s horror-comedy universe continues with its third installment. The film’s principal photography began in March 2021, and it will be released theatrically worldwide on November 25, 2022.
During the shooting schedule, Varun Dhawan and his wife, designer Natasha Dalal donated ₹1 lakh to the victims of a massive fire in Arunachal Pradesh’s Tirap and Longding districts in April 2021
