The last five years of the year 2022 were nothing special for Bollywood. So far, many Hindi films have been released in theatres, out of which ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’, ‘The Kashmir Files’ and ‘Bhool Bhulaiya 2’ have been able to earn handsomely. Apart from this, everyone has seen the rest of the films being divided. Meanwhile, many South films were also released in theatres, which not only in Hindi but also in the world earned a lot of money. For this reason, a debate started between South and Bollywood in the cinema world. At the same time, now actor Varun Dhawan has stated by comparing South and Bollywood in the cinema world.

Varun Dhawan recently said, ‘Cinema is going well right now. Viewers have the right to watch the cinema they want to see. Hollywood movies have been in the works for so many years. This is because the audience is liking it and that’s why people want to see it. I enjoyed watching KGF 2. It is one of the biggest earners right now.

Varun Dhawan was also asked about the Bollywood films that flopped in the last few months. On this, the actor said that there are films from the south too, which have not been able to show amazing. Varun Dhawan said, ‘Even in his cinema, seven-eight big films have flopped. This is because the films that are released now are from the last two and a half years. I think a good film will come now. There are many good movies in Hindi cinema. Not every film can be a hit. The audience will not watch a bad film, be it an English, Hindi, or South film. They will not see.’

Talking about the work front, Varun Dhawan will soon be seen in the film ‘Jug jugg Jeeyo’. Kiara Advani, Neetu Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, and Maniesh Paul will be seen alongside Varun in this film. While there will be romance in the film, it is said to be a family entertainer. Directed by Raj Mehta, the film is scheduled to release on 24 June 2022.
