April 1 saw both Hollywood and Bollywood stars under one roof at NMACC’s event. The Ambanis hosted the who’s who of Bollywood and international stars on Day 2 of the gala event. Celebs before entering the main event posed on the pink carpet. But the real fun was inside where celebs like Varun Dhawan, Ranveer Singh, Shah Rukh Khan and Rashmika Mandanna among others set the dance floor on fire with their moves.
A video of Varun from the event has gone viral where he was seen lifting model Gigi Hadid in his arms and also gave a kiss on her cheek. While many cheered, a section of netizens trolled Varun.
Varun Dhawan Gets Trolled
At the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre on Saturday night, actor Varun Dhawan gave an electrifying performance. The videos of his show have gone viral on social media. In a viral clip, the Bhediya actor calls supermodel Gigi on stage, lifts her and also swings the diva. She donned a golden and white chikankari saree designed by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla and looked stunning in it.

It didn’t go down well with a section of social media users and they trolled VD left, right and centre. One wrote, “Why does VD keeps on doing these things everywhere and nobody stops him even with Hollywood celebs” while another commented, “Was the kiss necessary?”. One commented, “Is he suppose to do that without permission? Bollywood actress is different they know each other. This doesn’t look good”. “Cheap and creepy behaviour,” wrote one user. Some called it “cringe” and “embarassing”.
Varun Dhawan’s Work Front
On the work front, Varun will be seen in Bawaal opposite Janhvi Kapoor. The movie is directed by Nitesh Tiwari. He also has Raj & DK’s Citadel with Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
