Actor Varun Dhawan is currently promoting his next venture JugJugg Jeeyo. Recently, in one of his interviews, Varun has opened up about how tough it was for him to work at a time when his father David Dhawan was hospitalized.
According to sources, filmmaker David Dhawan has advanced-stage diabetes. Last week, he started feeling deteriorated suddenly as a result of which he had to be admitted to the hospital. His son Varun, who was busy in promotions of JugJugg Jeeyo immediately took a flight to be by his father’s side. However, after a few days, Varun was seen promoting his film again.
In a conversation with a leading daily, the actor has talked about the difficult phase and shared what his dad wants him to do at such times. “People love my Dad and we’ve got him back home now. It’s tough to work when your father is not well, but my father will always want me to complete my commitments. He’s recovering well at home now,” stated Varun.
The director is now back home and has confirmed that he is doing better. Let us tell you that David Dhawan is one of the most popular filmmakers in the genre of comedy. he has given many blockbusters to Bollywood. His last outing was Coolie No. 1 with son Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan as leads.
As for Varun, the young star of Bollywood is all set for the release of Dharma productions JugJugg Jeeyo alongside Kiara Advani. The film will be Neetu Kapoor’s comeback to acting after a break of nine years. Dhawan also has interesting projects in the pipeline like Bawaal with Janhvi Kapoor and Bhediya with Kriti Sanon. His last release, Coolie No.1, however, tanked at the box office.
