The actress furthermore believes that her husband, Siddharth brought a significant change in her life which she accepted openly. Going vocal about the same in an interaction with Fimfare, The Kahaani actress stated:

“He is the best thing that has happened to me. Nazar na lage. I am blessed with the kind of family I am born into, my parents, my sister and brother-in- law, my niece and nephew and of course my second set of parents, my in-laws. They light up my life. If they make me ‘me’, Siddharth let’s me be me.”

“I also think that I don’t want anyone to reduce my achievements to saying this happened for you because of your husband because one has worked very hard to get here and as much as I love him, I don’t want that to happen for either of us. It’s very reductive in a lot of ways. People say na aapka toh production house hai na and I say mere pati ka hai, mera nahi hai, fark hai. They don’t understand it.”
