Vidya Balan On Working With Madhuri Dixit In Bhool Bhulaiya 3: ‘There’s No Point In…’

Vidya Balan recently shared her experience of working with Madhuri Dixit in the dance number “Ami Je Tomar 3.0” from “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3”. In an interview with The Indian Express, Vidya admitted that while she isn’t a trained dancer, she put in extra effort for the song, especially considering her dance partner was the legendary Madhuri.

Vidya explained that unlike previous co-stars Aishwarya Rai and Karisma Kapoor—both known for their dancing skills—she didn’t have formal dance training. Nonetheless, she was determined to match steps with Madhuri. “I don’t even see myself as a dancer,” Vidya confessed, “But if the role requires it, I’ll work hard. And if you’re dancing with Madhuri Dixit, you work even harder because it’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.” She acknowledged that while Madhuri’s past co-stars were seasoned dancers, she was willing to put in double the effort. “There’s no point stressing about matching her moves, but I did my best and enjoyed the process,” she added.

On the heels of ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’s success, Vidya also discussed her role in the film. Directed by Anees Bazmee, “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3” is the third installment of the popular horror-comedy franchise. Kartik Aaryan reprises his role as ghostbuster ‘Rooh Baba’ or Ruhaan, while Triptii Dimri plays his love interest. Vidya returns to her iconic role as Manjulika, this time involved in a mysterious plot surrounding two Manjulikas. Madhuri Dixit also plays a key role in the film, adding intrigue to the narrative.

With a stellar ensemble cast including Vijay Raaz, Rajpal Yadav, and Sanjay Mishra, “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3” promises a thrilling mix of humor and mystery, continuing the franchise’s tradition of spooky fun.
