The speculations began when the pictures of both of them getting romantic on New Years eve surfaced online. After their intimate video, the two bumped into each other at an award function and most recently, on a lunch date in Bandra, Mumbai. They had even acknowledged the paparazzi by waving back to them.

Responding to news report about the couple, Vijay dropped a photograph of his actual ‘lunch date’ who is none other than filmmaker Sujoy Ghosh. He will direct the actor for his next The Devotion of Suspect X.
Taking to Twitter, Vijay shared a picture of himself with Sujoy standing at a certain distance from him. He is seen pointing at the director while clicking a mirror selfie with him. In the caption, the Gully Boy actor called Sujoy his actual ‘date’. He wrote, “My lunch date (shrugging man emoji) @sujoy_g.”

Vijay Verma is going to appear next in The Devotion of Suspect X alongside Kareena Kapoor and Jaideep Ahlawat. It is an adaptation of Japanese author Keigo Higashino’s novel. Besides this, Vijay has Prime Video series Dahaad with Sonakshi Sinha, Gulshan Devaiah and Sohum Shah.
