Bollywood singer and musician Vishal Dadlani is on the hit list of people and the government following his latent comment on the CM of Uttar Pradesh. The singer has challenged Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath through a post on his social media handle. On Thursday, Vishal Dadlani reacted to CM Yogi Adityanath’s comment in which he denied claims of fecal bacteria in the water of Mahakumbh and even called the water of Sangam drinkable.

After this claim of Yogi Adityanatah, Vishal Dadlani challenged him to drink a big sip from the river in Prayagraj. Let us tell you that it all started when on February 17, the National Green Tribunal (NGT) released a report stating that high levels of fecal bacteria and total coliform have been found in the water near several Mahakumbh sites.

The report created a stir across the country in no time, but CM Yogi Adityanath dismissed it and said that the water of that place was drinkable. Reacting to this, Vishal Dadlani wrote through his Instagram story, ‘Don’t worry about the haters, sir. We trust you. Please go ahead and have a nice chunky glass. Straight from the river, on camera.’

Also, in a story, he posted a news report about the NGT report and said, ‘If you can’t see lakhs of cases of dysentery, cholera, amoebiosis, etc. coming up, you must be special. Please go ahead and drown yourself and your family in sewage. More power to you.’ Earlier on Wednesday, Vishal had taken a dig at the Maha Kumbh in a completely different way. Writing a post in support of Samay Raina amid the ‘India’s Got Latent’ controversy, he criticized the legal system for not paying attention to several cases. His post read, ‘The government wanted to control online content. They have been trying for a long time and were being stopped. Now, people are losing their freedom in this wave of TV-generated outrage. What else to say… ‘Why did Kumbh stampede lead to deaths?’ Get it?’
