Vivek Agnihotri gives his opinion on Shah Rukh Khan’s successful films Pathaan and Jawan. We wonder how the superstar would respond to this recent criticism.

Vivid Agnihotri  has spoken out about his issues with the most recent Shah Rukh Khan blockbusters. The director of The Vaccine War said that he watched Pathaan and Jawan and didn’t think much of them. In an interview with RJ, Vivek Agnihotri said that his most recent film, The Vaccine War, was the largest box office flop of all time. Siddharth Kannan stated his opinion that Shah Rukh Khan is capable of more.

Vivek added, “I think his recent films are very superficial. He is capable of much more than that. Whatever new films have come out, we should see them. I have found the ones I have watched to be really shallow. They hold their own as action films, but I don’t think they deserve to be held up as the gold standard of cinema or as a sign that the entertainment industry is dying. If so, I’d call it sycophancy. That’s an issue for me.”

Shah Rukh Khan the reason of industry’s demise?

Vivek Agnihotri has recently taken aim at Bollywood’s biggest star, Shah Rukh Khan, saying that the Jawan actor is to blame for the industry’s demise. “But I don’t agree with Shah Rukh Khan’s politics. It is because of them that I believe Bollywood has been destroyed. Everything in Bollywood has been ruined by them. Now, nothing is acceptable unless it involves publicity stunts, media attention, or celebrity status. This is my dilemma. Shah Rukh Khan has remained silent about the charges against him.”

Jawan has made 600 crores in film office earnings on its 25th day of release, but ‘The Vaccine War’ has been swiping Jawan toofan’s audience and has only made 3 crore in box office earnings to yet. The film chronicles the struggle against COVID on the part of ordinary people and how it was ultimately won thanks to the efforts of Indian scientists who developed a vaccine.
