Narrating the story, Vivek Oberoi said, ‘There is a famous temple there. My experience was very unique. I was very mentally disturbed. I had a lot of fear. There were some problems… I pitched a tent among the survivors and stayed with them. I also learned a little Tamil. Someone told me to go to the temple. I went. There I met an old man with a white beard. He was wearing only a dhoti. He called me to him.’

Vivek further said that the old man was speaking fluent English and it seemed that he already knew about the actor’s problems. The actor said, ‘He made me sit next to him and looked at my face and said that you are very upset. You are going through a difficult time. And that’s why you were sent to this temple. You were going to suffer a huge financial loss but you are lucky because the money you were going to lose, you have spent it here in relief work. This is your karma. And you will get the reward for it.’
