‘We Often Get To Read About Akbar And Aurangzeb, But Stories of Our Real Life Heroes Be Taught’ Said Akshay Kumar 

These days are not good for Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar who has been in discussions for personal and professional life. Khiladi Kumar recently attended an interview in which he stressed the need for ‘reform’ in history books. He talked about these issues during the promotion of his new upcoming film Sky Force and made several revelations about his life and the industry. Akshay said that history books of the Indian education system should also include stories of the valor of Indian soldiers because often we get to read about personalities like Akbar and Aurangzeb, but the stories of our real heroes, whose bravery have saved the country, are missing.

During an interview with one of the media houses, Akshay said, “There are a lot of things that are not mentioned in our books. I deliberately choose characters to portray on screen who are not part of our books and make people aware about those characters. That’s what I want to do. These are all unknown heroes and they should be known by people.” He also said that people do not know about these heroes because no one explores their stories in depth.

Akshay further said, “I chose these types of characters because these stories are very important. Many things need to be corrected in our history books. We get to read about Akbar and Aurangzeb, but not about our heroes. Their names should also be in the books.” The actor also mentioned the brave soldiers who have received honors like Param Vir Chakra. He said that their heroic stories should also be given importance. Akshay said, “There are a lot of things that are not in our books. I deliberately choose characters who are not part of our books. That’s what I want to do. These are all unknown heroes.”

He also said that people do not know about these heroes because no one explores their stories in depth. Let us tell you in the film Sky Force, Akshay Kumar is playing the role of Wing Commander KO Ahuja, which is based on Wing Commander Om Prakash Taneja of the Indian Air Force. During the 1965 Indo-Pakistan War, Om Prakash Taneja showed bravery by destroying the enemy’s aircraft and runway, for which he was awarded the Vir Chakra.
