Weight Gain For Thalaivii Gives Kangana Ranaut Permanent Stretch marks, Actress Talks About Major Physical Transformation

Kangana Ranaut is one of the most sought-after actresses in the film industry. The highest-paid Bollywood actress is known for giving all her blood and sweat for the roles she takes up on-screen. Her latest release Thalaivii, a biography of late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and former actress J. Jayalalitha is according to Kangana, the best movie of her career. For transforming herself into Jayalalithaa, Kangana has put on a lot of hard work. She had to gain a whopping 20 Kgs for stepping into the shoes of the late actress.

Recently, Kangana took to Instagram to share details about the physical transformation that she went through for her role. In her post, the Queen actress has talked about how her weight adjustments for Thalaivii “messed up many things” in her body and left her with “permanent stretch marks”.

Kangana wrote, “Gaining 20 kgs in 6 months and losing it all within 6 months that too in my thirties messed up many things in my body. I also have permanent stretch marks as well but art comes to life with a price and more often than not price is the artist him/herself.”
