Anupam Kher, called it his 37th anniversary in cinema and he thanked on social media for creating the gem to his Saaransh movie team directed by Mahesh Bhatt.
Anupam Kher’s debut film Saaransh completed 37 years today. Anupam Kher called this day his birthday in cinema, and he posted a video recreated of his red-letter day from the film, to the audience. He shared how his work in the Saaransh movie was a result of all the struggle and pain he went through before beginning his first break. Anupam Kher also mentioned how his work became unforgettable in the directorial of Mahesh Bhatt and made him alive.
In the video, shared by him on his social media page. He said how he has done more than 500 films and he has people telling them that none of his work is like Saransh’s movie.
He revealed that whenever he sees his work, he always feels that he can do better but not in this film.
Sharing insights from this iconic scene of the film where he goes to collect his dead son’s ashes, Anupam mentioned that Mahesh Bhatt had warned him that he doesn’t want too many retakes. “I didn’t even want that and I started figuring out my emotions. At that time I was in my twenties, I was 28 and I had to play a 65 years old role, not married, and had no kid. I didn’t know how to bring out the character’s pain.
Kher amazed his fans as he recreated a scene, proving his caliber as an actor. After enacting the emotional scene he gets emotional and tears get into his eyes. He thanked his fans for the love and respect he earned over the years, Anupam Kher said that he hopes to continue doing more work. “It’s just the interval now. I have survived because of your love and hope to do so for years.
