Actress Nayanthara and Vignesh Sivan announced the good news of having twins yesterday. While everyone in the film industry was wishing and blessing them, it raised a problem for the new parents. The Tamil Nadu government decided to investigate the birth of the twins.

Film-maker Vignesh Sivan announced the good news with a picture of him and Nayanthara on his Instagram. He said, “Nayan & Me have become Amma & Appa. We are blessed with twin baby boys. All our prayers and our ancestors’ blessings combined with all the good manifestations made have come together in the form of two blessed babies for us. Need all your blessings for our Uyir & Ulagam. Life looks brighter & more beautiful. God is double great.”

This news came as a surprise to all the fans and people congratulated them on having the twins. They had the twins from surrogacy after they got married earlier this year. Now amid this good news, reports say that the government of Tamil Nadu has decided to investigate the birth procedure followed by the couple.

A journalist asked the Health Minister of Tamil Nadu Ma Subramaniam since the twins were born through surrogacy whether the couple followed all the rules, regulations, and procedures for surrogacy or not. To this, the minister replied that she will look into the matter.

Later on, the government started an investigation into the birth of the twins and officials are working actively on the matter. Until now neither Nayanthara nor Vignesh has made any statement, and they haven’t made any clarification.
