Kriti Sanon and Shahid Kapoor revealed the title of their upcoming film, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, on January 10, 2024. For those who don’t know, Teri Baaton, a 2004 hit song by well-known Canadian artist Raghav, served as the inspiration for the film’s title. Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon are seen having an intimate moment in the film’s official poster, which instantly made audiences fall in love with their chemistry. The movie, which is helmed by Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah, will open in theatres on February 9, 2024, during Valentine’s Week.

For those who are unaware, Kriti Sanon shared a beautiful photo of herself with Shahid Kapoor on Instagram in December 2022. She included a little message with the photo, which said: “Back to Bay with my BAE, also a Maddock Film is on the way.” However, within minutes of posting the picture, Kriti changed the caption of her picture with Shahid, and her updated caption could be read as “KS with SK”. As soon as internet users noticed this alteration, they began conjecturing that Kriti changed it because of Shahid’s wife, Mira Rajput Kapoor.

According to one user, Kriti Sanon’s caption was wrong because Shahid Kapoor is a married man; thus, she should not refer to him as “bae.” Not only this, one user even started claiming that Mira Rajput Kapoor contacted Kriti and threatened her to delete the caption of her picture as she is taking no chances after allegations of Kiara Advani supposedly growing closer to Shahid during the filming of Kabir Singh.

Fortunately, Kriti Sanon’s caption narrative was quickly forgotten in the media. To put it briefly, Kriti Sanon and Shahid Kapoor, her co-star in Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, are friendly. In an interview with The Times of India back in 2014, Kriti gave a critical critique of Shahid’s acting performance in the movie Haider and acknowledged that she had picked up a lot of knowledge from simply watching him perform. The actress praised Shahid for portraying a complex character with such grace and elegance.  She had mentioned: “The character of Hamlet is multi-layered, and Shahid has done an outstanding job at it. Only by watching the film, I got to learn so much.”
