When Shah Rukh talked about his regret of not telling his parents about his love for them

Earlier, Shah Rukh spoke candidly about the value of love during his appearance on Salman Khan’s show, Dus Ka Dum. Speaking of the same, the actor admitted that his biggest life regret is that he didn’t show his parents enough love while they were still alive. Shah Rukh explained further, mentioning:

“I am a father to three kids and all parents wish that their children remind them once a month, once in six months or even once in a year that I love we love you. After my parents died, I realised that I should’ve told them that I love them a few more times.”

Once, Rani Mukerji asked her business associates to talk about the challenges they had encountered in life as part of the promotion for her movie Hichki. Shah Rukh Khan, one of her closest friends, was among the first to bring up the subject. King Khan had said more about it, saying: “My greatest ‘Hichki moment’ is the death of my parents. I was 15 when my father passed away and 26 when my mother passed away. It was very sad for us. The empty house without my parents used to come to bite us (my sister and me). The loneliness, pain and sadness of the loss of both my parents, could have been overwhelming enough to take over my life wholly. I decided to overcome this Hichki moment by letting acting fill up my entire life.”
