Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra is hitting headlines due to her personal life. She has recently got engaged to Aam Aadmi Party MP Raghav Chadha after months of speculations. The engagement ceremony of the couple took place at Kapurthala House in Delhi. Talking about Parineeti, very few people know that it was Rani Mukerji who advised her to try her hand in the acting world. After this, the fate of the actress changed in a way that never made her look back again.

Parineeti appeared in Karan Johar’s chat show ‘Koffee with Karan’ in the year 2014. During her conversation with the host, the actress told how an advice from Rani Mukherji had changed her whole life. Before making it big in films, Parineeti used to work in the accounts department of production house Yash Raj Films.

In the show, Parineeti Chopra stated, “Everything had changed in a day. I remember that I was working as a manager for Rani Mukherji, because her manager was busy working for some other actor. I was on the sets of ‘Bigg Boss’ with her. She told me that you are Priyanka Chopra’s cousin. Why are you not an actress? I said no, ma’am I don’t want to become an actress, but then she said that you will become a good actress.”

On the following day, filmmaker Maneesh Sharma sent Parineeti to casting director Shanoo Sharma’s house. She shot an audition clip of Parineeti, in which the actress performed a scene from Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor’s ‘Jab We Met’.

Parineeti further said, ‘I thought that Shanoo Sharma would keep that video in her collection bank. One and a half months passed, but no reply came from Shanoo’s side. After that I left the job of Yash Raj Films and then I started looking for an acting school. Then one day Maneesh Sharma called me to Yash Raj’s office and said ‘Congratulations… you are going to sign three films with Yash Raj Films’.”
