The effect of corona is not being seen so much in India, but cases of corona infection are still increasing in many states of China. This is the reason that under the zero covid lockdown policy, there is a lockdown in many parts of the country. However, people in China are opposing it, and surprisingly, the song ‘Jimmy-Jimmy’ from Mithun Chakraborty’s film Disco Dancer remains the first choice for people doing Covid lockdown protests in various states of China.
Bappi Da
Many videos from China are going viral on various social media platforms like Tiktok. It is clearly visible in this video that the people of China are using this song of Bappi Da to express their anger towards the zero-covid policy. However, the most interesting thing about the protest is, the song is being sung in Mandarin language and not in Hindi. The words in the Mandarin language were as follows – ‘ji mi, ji mi’, which means ‘give me rice, give me rice’. Not only this, people are also seen beating empty utensils and tuning to songs in the video.
People Protesting In China
Let us tell you that through this covid policy protest, the people there want to show how they are deprived of essential food items due to the lockdown that the Chinese government has brought into action. Along with this, people are also appealing to the government to remove the harsh restrictions of covid lockdown and do not deprive them of the essentials that are required by them to lead their life.
