‘Wife Should Be Adjusting’, Gajraj Rao Says Cinema Influenced His Idea Of Romance!

Bollywood actor Gajraj Rao might have carved his niche in the industry a little late in his life, but now he is making sure to hit hard with his films. Most of the actor’s outings on the silver screen are blockbusters with him getting special credits for his role. In a recent interview, Gajraj shared the personal things he learnt from Indian cinema over the years. He said that his ‘formula of romance’ comes from Bollywood. Gajraj revealed that he has been an over-possessive man looking for an adjusting wife.

On Varun Duggi’s podcast, the actor stated that according to what he was taught and what he saw in cinema, a wife should be like Jaya Bhaduri and Rekha. One who could take care of the entire household and is of an adjusting nature. If the poor husband has lost his job or is ailing, everything then becomes the responsibility of the wife.

Gajraj shared that grew up in an all-boys school and interacted with girls for the first time when he started doing theatre. During that time, he had a lot of ‘one-sided romances’. The actor admitted that he made many mistakes in his dating life because his idea of romance came from Indian cinema.
