A few months ago, according to the information, it was said that director Ayan Mukerji is planning to make his own “Brahmastra” universe, with several characters getting a spin-off, if the first part is successful, which is being fronted by Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.

Recently, Ayan confirmed such a plan in an interaction. It was also told in the information that the introduction of a new character named “Dev” would be seen in the second part of the film. And now, some more details have been revealed about the sequel to this modern mythology.

As per the recent information, “Brahmastra 2” will be about the story of two lead characters, i.e., Mahadev and Parvati. The information states: “The makers have chosen Deepika Padukone to play the character of Parvati. In fact, Deepika will also do a cameo at the end of Brahmastra, which will eventually lead the film to the second part.”

It further added that the actress has already shot for the sequence in question for the first instalment of Brahmastra. Let you know that, the filmmaker has also roped-in an actor for the role of MahaDev, but further information on the news related to it is not yet known. Interestingly, the first part of the film is about Shiva and Isha, which is another name for MahaDev and Parvati.

The information continued: “All the characters of it are intertwined. It is director Ayan Mukerji’s own universe that is deeply rooted in Indian mythology. The world is unlike anything that has been seen before in world cinema.” Shiva and Isha will also remain in all parts of this trilogy. Shah Rukh Khan also has a cameo in the first part of “Brahmastra,” and he will be seen with some special super-powers and a long action sequence, which should be best left to watch on the big screen.

The future of the “Brahmastra” franchise depends a lot on how the audience feels about the first part. At present, Ayan has the blueprint for the second and third parts ready, and if the first part is successful, he will take the second part to the floor by the end of 2023.
