He has been on that show for a year and a half. He said, that has “been a satisfying, enriching and fulfilling journey.” He feels that it is time for him to go.

Nakuul said that the show got a lot of love. But many people had doubts when it started. People doubted because the makers of the show remade an iconic show. But the journey has been amazing. He said that the way it has reach out to people is truly special. He said, “I feel creatively, full having been a part of it for so long.” Now, he feels there is nothing new he can bring to it. But he added that he will miss playing Ram.

The actor has done three TV shows in his 10-year-old career. He admitted that his last TV show, Ishqbaaz left him exhausted. That is why he took a break of four years. He said that he feels he has paid his dues to the makers as well as the audiences in the last 18 months.

Moreover, he added that one must know when to go, and now is the time to go for him too. It is tempting to stay on as well as continue with a show. And also receive love but what more can he do or get is his question. He looks at challenging himself. He has had the patience and resilience to say no to a lot of things and preserve himself for bigger things.
