These days she is in the news for her upcoming film ‘Emergency’ which has created a stir in the industry. The actress’s film was scheduled to be released on 6 September, but its release was postponed after the film did not get certification from the Censor Board.

The actress is constantly vocal about her film not being given a certificate from the board, she is constantly giving statements on this issue. Meanwhile, she has shared a special post on the third anniversary of her film ‘Thalaivi’, based on the biography of the late actress and politician Jayalalithaa. The actress wrote a message while sharing a picture of herself from the film ‘Thalaivi’ on her Instagram story. In this, she talked about women fighting their own battles and how women should stand up for themselves.

While focusing on the need for women to stand against wrong she wrote, “Every woman who is on her own has to fight a battle every day, she does not even get the facility to be weak or cry. She keeps moving forward without any praise or acceptance. Remembering Dr. J Jayalalithaa on the third anniversary of Thalaivi.” Kangana is often known for expressing her opinion on every issue without any hesitation. She has done a great job not only in acting but also in direction. The actress directed her last film ‘Manikarnika’, which was well-received by the audience for her strong acting skills and the plot the film has to deliver. Now she is playing the role of the first woman Prime Minister of the country in her upcoming film.

Apart from this, it is also facing the demand for boycotts and bans. Many Sikh organizations have accused it of presenting the community in the wrong light. The film is constantly getting embroiled in controversies, on which Kangana Ranaut is also constantly expressing her displeasure openly. Recently, it was reported that the film has finally received a UA certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). However, this certification has been given with the condition that three scenes from the film be removed and some historical information be shown along with facts and their sources.
