Recently, a Reddit user shared a video of Alia Bhatt’s interview wherein she is heard comparing herself to Amitabh Bachchan for ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’. This didn’t go down well with some online users who went on to bash the actress for bragging about herself.

In a viral clip, Alia Bhatt is seen interacting with journalist, Anupama Chopra along with three other colleagues from the film fraternity. Her ‘Darlings’ co-stars, Vijay Varma and Shefali Shah are also present there. In the video, Alia says, “Arey people called me Amitabh Bachchan in Gangubai. I mean they said 4 feet ki Amitabh, but that’s a funny thing. But still…”
While the audience cheered on Alia’s statement, Vijay looked a bit shocked. His facial expression depicted that he felt the actress was making exaggerated claims.
