Speaking to E-Times, Tejasswi Prakash shared her career plans. Her decision to take a break from TV. She said, “I want to work on different platforms. But as they say, never say ‘never.’ I have learned this from life, and I have learned it the hard way. So, I can never say that I will not do TV shows. Because TV has made me what I am today.”
Tejasswi emphasised that timing is crucial for success and shared her plans. She said, “When you choose the right show, you get recognition. People know me, but now I want this to come out in a different form. That’s why I have taken a break from television.”
She said, “Yes, it is difficult, but people have done it, and so I believe I can do it too. It may take some time, but it is not impossible.”
Tejasswi has worked in Marathi films like ‘Mann Kasturi Re’ and ‘School College Ani Life.’ She shared her experience, saying, “My parents wanted me to do Marathi films, so I did it for them, and I loved the entire experience. You learn a lot from it. I feel that in the Marathi film industry, acting is taken very seriously because most actors are very well-prepared.”

Her first TV show was ‘2612.’ She later played significant roles in hit serials like ‘Sanskaar – Dharohar Apnon Ki,’ ‘Pehredaar Piya Ki,’ and ‘Rishta Likhenge Hum Naya.’ However, she became a household name with the serial ‘Swaragini – Jodein Rishton Ke Sur’ in 2015, where she played the character of Ragini, which made her famous.
