Famous TV face, Rubina Dilaik is known for her flawless acting skills. Recently, rumors of her delaying the shoot of her debut film, titled Ardh until her requirements for a special type of vanity van were not completed surfaced online. The actress has finally broken her silence on the same.

Rubina has justified herself to a leading daily via text message. She quipped, “Haha hahaha. To make it meatier, you can also add that I refused to shoot in the real location which is a slum area – and left the set!”

One of the reports that allegedly accused Rubina of throwing tantrums on the film sets said that the Bigg Boss 14 winner had asked for a ‘double-door vanity van’ to lodge her staff. She even denied coming out of her car until she got what she wanted.

Before Rubina, the director of the film, Ardh, Palash Muchhal also rubbished all such rumors. He said that it was true that the ‘Shakti- Ek Astitva’ actress stayed a long period of time inside her car (because it was raining) after reaching the set on time. However, the other allegations were false where it was claimed that the actress asked for a double-door vanity van and on the same.”

Recently, Rubina announced in one of the Instagram posts that she will begin shooting for her first film, ‘Ardh’. The film will be directed by Singer and music composer, Palash Muchhal. The movie will revolve around a story of a struggling actor in Mumbai. She wrote, “New Beginnings,” and shared the poster of the film. Apart from Rubina Dilaik, Rajpal Yadav, Hiten Tejwani, and Kulbhushan Kharbanda will also be seen in the movie.

Earlier this month, Rubina revealed how she tackled the extra weight she gained after suffering from Covid-19 in May this year. She wrote in her Instagram post that, “I am learning to love myself again after realizing a perfect, lean body doesn’t define who I am……I gained 7 kgs post my Covid recovery which made me uncomfortable and low on confidence! Struggled hard to get back to my usual 50 but….”

She continued, “So here is to my beautiful people a Lil nugget (which I am currently practicing) Weight is all about having your health first and not your looks… Be kind to your body.”

We cannot wait for this diva to sizzle on the silver screen. Wishing her all the luck in her future endeavors.
