Bollywood actress Adah Sharma has become a topic of discussion these days due to her latest film ‘The Kerala Story’. She is winning accolades for her portrayal of a Hindu girl trapped in a religion conversion plan of ISIS. Adah is enjoying the success and praises for her film.

In an interview with IB Times, Adah had revealed how she faced back-to-back rejections from the film industry and was called out for her looks. Adah had stated, “During the initial phase of my career, I was told that ‘you don’t look good’ and I took it seriously. But with time, l realised that if they want to reject you, they will do it irrespective of how I look. On the other hand, If I am fit for a role, and have a flaw, they will take me for that project”.
Adah had also shared that she was replaced in many projects after signing them, and was often mocked for her thick brows.
For the unversed, Adah Sharma made her Bollywood debut with horror film ‘1920’ in 2008. She is popular for her roles in films like ‘Hasee Toh Phasee’, ‘Commando 3’ and ‘Selfiee’. Her recent release ‘The Kerala Story’ is creating waves not just in the society but at the box office too. The film has broken records in less than 4 days of its release despite facing a lot controversies for its subject.
