The recent announcement of Actress Zaira Wasim quitting Bollywood had created a stir in the industry. The 18-years-old took her social media to announce her decision to quit Bollywood. During the launch of Kangana Ranaut’s new song Wakhra from the film Judgemental Hai Kya, she was asked by a reporter her views on Zaira Wasim quitting Bollywood, and whether religion can affect someone’s art. To which Kangana Replied, “I think any religion should empower you. It should make you independent, make you fulfil your life and if you think your life is already fulfilled, there’s plenty of work around you. Try and help your family and friends. Kaveri is drying up. There’s so much to do. So work and try and fulfil the environment around you. The essential fundamental requirement of any religion is to empower you, not disempower you.”
