‘Meri Mitti Paleed Kar Di’: Manoj Bajpayee On Katrina Kaif, Tabu Touching His Feet After Working With Him!
Bollywood actor Manoj Bajpayee has earned a great name in world of acting. His fine skills and top class performances did not go unnoticed making a permanent place in the industry. Currently, Manoj is busy spreading a word for his upcoming film ‘Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai’. During a conversation with the media organization, he shared how on different occasions, actresses Katrina Kaif and Tabu touched his feet and left him embarassed.
Manoj recalls embarrassing moments with Katrina and Tabu
Manoj and Katrina appeared together in the 2010 film ‘Raajneeti’, but the two did not have any scenes together in the film. At the premiere of Raajneeti, when the actor was called to pose for shutterbugs with the entire cast of the film, Katrina went up to him and touched his feet. She told him that he is a wonderful actor. This embarrassed Manoj and to hide the same, he just hugged Katrina.
Manoj stated as he talked about Katrina’s gesture towards him, “Katrina ne toh mitti palid kar di (she put me to shame). She touched my feet in front of the entire media. It was her way of showing respect to me after watching ‘Rajneeti’. She was overwhelmed. We were working together, but there was no scene of ours together.”
Recalling a similar incident with Tabu, Manoj said, “Tabu saw Satya and she came on the sets. She touched my feet in front of everyone. It was her way of appreciating me.” ‘Satya’ released in 1998. Later, Manoj worked with Tabu in the 2018 film ‘Missing’ and 2000 film ‘Dil Pe Mat Le Yaar’.
Workwise, Manoj Bajpayee’s ‘Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai’ will come up on May 23 on the OTT platform Zee5. In the film, Manoj will portray the role of a lawyer who fights against godman for justice to a rape victim. It is directed by Apoorva Singh Karki.
