Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra might not have multiple hits to her credit, but the actress is always hailed for the performances she give on screen. She has proved her acting mettle in every film she has starred in. Parineeti is now gearing up for the release of her upcoming film ‘Mission Raniganj: The Great Indian Rescue’ with Akshay Kumar in the lead. In a recent interview, the actress talked about the failure of her much-loved project ‘Meri Pyaari Bindu’, which was released in 2017.
Parineeti Chopra reveals what led to ‘Meri Pyaari Bindu’ failure
In an interaction with Radio Nasha, the host asked Parineeti which of her films deserved more love. She named her romantic drama with Ayushmann Khurrana and said that though it did not achieve success at the box office when it came out, it receives a lot of love and praise from fans till today.
The ‘Ishaqzaade’ actress expressed her belief that films don’t go unnoticed. The audience will eventually discover whether a film is good or bad. She stated that according to her, some movies may not perform well at the box office but people watch it after a few years and they develop a cult following.
On the other hand, some films may do earn well at the ticket windows because of a favourable release timing but may not necessarily be the best pieces of cinema. So, every movie has its own destiny.
Furthermore, Parineeti blamed Prabhas-starrer ‘Baahubali’ for the failure of ‘Meri Pyaari Bindu’. She said that her film released alongside ‘Baahubali’ and hence did not get the much-deserved love then. But that’s the film that she gets the most love for today. The actress quoted, “And that’s what matters. There are many films like this that don’t make the numbers at that time, but they always find you.”
