The nation is abuzz with enthusiasm and devotion as it welcomes Ganpati Bappa into homes during the grand celebration of Ganesh Chaturthi. B-town couple, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli also took out time from their busy work schedule and welcomed Vighanharta at their home. This year Ganesh Chaturthi is special for the couple as they are celebrating it for the first time after the birth of their 2.5-year-old baby girl, Vamika. Often, both Virat and Anushka prefer to keep their life away from the media glares but this time, the couple posted glimpses of Ganpati celebrations at their home.
Anushka Sharma shares glimpses of her Ganpati celebrations
Taking to her Instagram on September 19, 2023, Anushka Sharma shared an array of pictures from her Ganpati celebrations. The first picture on her feed featured a divine photo of her Ganpati Bappa, who looked adorable in a floral garland. The backdrop had several orange and yellow-colored genda phool (marigold flowers).
In the second picture, Anushka was spotted posing alongside her husband, Virat. Needless to say, Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma looked regal in a silk saree and gold jewellery. She completed her look with minimal makeup and a centre-parted hair bun. Whereas, her husband, Virat looked dapper in an all-white kurta.
When Ashneer Grover rejected Virat Kohli-Anushka as brand model
Shark Tank India’s judge, Ashneer Grover once rejected Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma as the brand models of his company. Ashneer opened up about how he was also offered Virat Kohli’s wife, Anushka Sharma as a part of the deal. However, Ashneer straight away refused to accept that as he wasn’t looking for a couple shoot since the shoot was not for a lehenga. Talking about the same, Ashneer mentioned:
“Maine bola chalo, Virat Kohli ko le lete hain, aur usne ek amount boli. Abhi bolunga nahi, Virat Kohli bura maan jayega. Phir bola ke Anushka ko bhi saath mein le lo. Maine bola maine kaunse Manyavar ke lehenge pehnane hain aur sherwani bechni hai, woh Manyavar waalon ne kar liya hai. Maine bola koi aur player bata, woh bolta hai ke uske baad kisi ki aukaat hi nahi hai.”
