‘People Call Me Unpadh, Gawaar’: Bigg Boss 16 Fame Archana Gautam Says Trolling Hurts Her!
Actress, Politician and reality TV star Archana Gautam has become a household name after her ‘Bigg Boss 16’ stint. She emerged as one of the most famous faces of the last season. Due to her popularity, Archana has not got Rohit Shetty’s ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 13’. She is all set to explore the jungles of South Africa for the shooting of the show. Ahead of her departure, Archana talked about phobias, trolls, etc.
Opening up on her phobias, Archana said that she made a big mistake by revealing that she is fearful of lizards. But that’s the only thing she is scared of in her life. Archana shared that in her village home, she used to sleep without anything over her head and lizards would fall on her body and would even bite her. That’s where she developed a phobia of lizards.
Talking about trolls, Archana said that she has no issues about people mocking her English speaking skills. She feels that even bad publicity is good publicity. When Archana sees people talking about her, it gives her joy as she knows that, at least, she is the topic of conversation.
However, Archana shared that trolls have taken a toll on her health at times. She elaborated and stated, “People don’t know my background- the kind of childhood I had, the village I come from and the situations that I’ve been through. They say that I don’t know how to speak English and describe me as ‘unpadh gawaar’. That hurts me. I’m an Indian and people should be proud of me speaking in Hindi.” Archana urged people to be ‘considerate’ towards her as they don’t know about her traumas.
Archana Gautam has been part of films like Great Grand Masti (2016) and Haseena Parker (2017). She joined politics later but it was ‘Bigg Boss 16’ which earned her the fame.
