After dating for almost four years, Virat and Anushka tied the marital knot in 2017. During a recent interaction, Virat talked about the equation he shares with his wife, Anushka Sharma. Elaborating about it, he revealed how he first met Anushka and how their journey towards a ‘forever’ path evolved. Virat was heard saying:
“The personalities and the identities are subsiding very quickly, and that is an amazing process. It is a blessing, the continuous effort we put into self-improvement.”
Virat opens up about lessons he learnt from Anushka Sharma
In the same conversation, Virat opened up about the key lessons he learnt from his wife. He shared how his wife always asked him to stand by the truth in any situation. Adding more to it, Virat revealed that Anushka’s values are due to her upbringing and her father being in the army. He said:
“I have learned from Anushka how to stand by the truth when no one else is willing to believe you or even listen to what you have to say – she always told me you know if you are standing by truth then you don’t have to worry about anything because the path will carve itself out and things will always be clean and separated.”
The cricketer is currently occupied in the ODI World Cup and is playing for the Indian cricket team, aiming to win the World Cup Trophy.
