‘Stay Away’: Priyanka Chopra Reveals She Faced Racial Slurs, Bullying At US School!
Global superstar Priyanka Chopra has revealed for the first time the racist comments she faced. She was a teenager studying at a school in the US. In a new podcast, she revealed how a group of ‘mean girls’ accused her of going out with a boy they liked as well as bullied her with racial slurs.
The actress talked about the bullying she faced. She said that it was about a boy. She said the group of girls thought she was spending the weekend with the boy they liked. In fact, she was not allowed out of the house after school.
The actress said that the group of girls started taking on me. Instead of saying ‘b*tch stay away from my man,’ they started using racial slurs. They used to say that they smell curry walking down the hallway. The actress said that they said she did not find time to shower. It became bullying, writing nasty things on bathroom stalls, and pushing against lockers. They used to say things that mean girls do in high school.
The gorgeous Priyanka said that it made her feel ‘less than.’ She said that her parents raised her with confidence. She said that at that time she decided to go back to India. She added, “I’m glad that I did as it kick started my whole career.”
After coming to India, Priyanka Chopra participated in Miss India as well as Miss World pageants. She became Miss World 2000. In 2015, she moved to America to work on her first TV series, Quantico. In 2018, she married Nick Jonas. They have a beautiful daughter, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas.
