A veteran Bollywood Actor Manoj Kumar’s Iconic Drama Movie ‘Woh Kaun Thi’ Has Completed 57 years- Red Letter Day For Indian Cinema.
Recently, Actor, Manoj Kumar shared a post on social media accounts in which he remembered his iconic black and white movie ‘Woh Kaun Thi?’ Which completed 57 years in the Indian cinema. National award-winning Actor Manoj Kumar shared on Tuesday remembering his movie ‘Woh Kaun Thi’? It completed 57 years of the movie.
The veteran star took to his Twitter handle and shared the poster of his 1964 iconic thrilling drama co-star late legendary actress Sadhana Shivdasani. Also with the poster, he wrote,” Dekhte hi dekhte 57 saal poor hi hate, lagta hai Jaise kal parso ki baat hai!!”
‘Woh Kaun Thi?’ The movie gave the most paradigmatic songs to the world of Indian cinema along with the Lata Mangeshkar crooned ‘ Lag Ja Gale’ and ‘Naina Barse Rimjhim’. ‘Woh Kaun Thi’ movie is a black and white psychological mystery thriller that revolves around the story of Dr. Anand as Manoj Kumar and Sandhya as Sadhana.
On a dark and stormy night, Anand offers a ride to a mysterious woman whom he meets on the side of a road. After that their romance blooms, he finds out his intended bride is a ghost and then he tries to find out who she was and why she haunts him.
Legendary Madan Mohan gave music to the film which surely proved to be an asset for the movie. Apart from Sadhana and Manoj, the movie also featured actors in lead roles Helen and Prem Chopra. The movie was released on June 01, 1964, was directed by Raj Khosla, and the movie bagged many honors including Filmfare for Best Cinematography.
