Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor is busy promoting his upcoming film ‘Tu Jhoothi ​​Main Makkaar’. Recently, he appeared on ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ with co-actor Anubhav Singh Bassi and during the conversation with host, Ranbir made a shocking disclosure. In a viral video circulated online, the actor is seen accepting that there have been times when he has lied to wife Alia Bhatt. However, he covers up his revelation by calling himself a ‘patnivrata insane’ now.

The clip which is doing rounds on internet begins with Kapil asking Ranbir about lying to wife Alia. To this, Ranbir says, “Our ancestors believed that to have peace in a relationship, a husband has to lie a little to his wife. Ranbir cut off stressing on the word ‘thoda (few)’. Kapil went on to ask whether Ranbir has faced such a situation. To this, he said, “White lies are part of the scale of our lives. Sometimes we lie. But it is for the other person’s good.” He added that he has not done anything controversial or bad that he has to hide it from Alia and he is now ‘patnivrata insaan’.

At a recent event, Ranbir Kapoor was also asked whether Alia Bhatt has stopped him from promoting ‘Tu Jhoothi ​​Main Makkaar’ with his co-star Shraddha Kapoor. To this, the actor was seen laughing and saying, “Why would she refuse? You are spreading such rumours. No one has said this, you are creating controversy because there is none in my life nowadays.”
