Bhushan Kumar’s production company T-Series has put an end to ongoing rumours for some time now by denying that they are not involved in the making of Kartik’s film ‘Aashiqui 3’.

It was rumoured that producer-director Anurag Basu was given the responsibility of directing the third film of the ‘Aashiqui franchise.

However, T-Series has revealed that the film directed by Anurag is neither ‘Aashiqui 3’ nor part of the franchise.

A post has been made on Instagram by T-Series stating that they are not involved in the production of ‘Aashiqui 3’. Whenever Film is considered for production, it will be a collaboration between T-Series and Vishesh Films.

The statement further reads, “We refute any rumour that suggests ‘Aashiqui 3’ is being produced by T-Series under a different name.”
