Akshay Kumar Don’t Eat Anything From Sunday 6 PM To Tuesday Morning To Stay Fit And Healthy

Everyone knows about Khiladi Kumar, aka Akshay Kumar’s daily routine and workouts. Now he has talked about how much care he takes to stay fit and has always said that he sticks to his disciplined routine and follows a strict rule. Away from the late-night parties of Bollywood, he goes to his bed at 10 pm and has dinner before 7 pm; this has been a part of his life that he has been following for years.

At the book launch of ‘Your Body Already Knows’, the actor told some new yet exciting things about his eating habits. He said that he finishes his dinner by 6:30 PM. Akshay said during this, ‘It is important to eat dinner early. This is very important for your body because when we sleep at night, our eyes are resting, our legs are resting, our hands are resting, every part of our body is resting, but the one that is not resting is your stomach because we have eaten late.’

He further said, ‘By the time you wake up, it is time for it to rest. But when we wake up, we have breakfast, and again the poor stomach starts working.’ Akshay Kumar further said, ‘I am explaining it in very simple language. You all know that the stomach, all the diseases come from. I think diseases will not come to you either. I always follow this rule. So, eating at 6:30 pm is important because you get time to digest your food, and by the time you are about to sleep, the stomach is completely ready for rest.’

Akshay also said that he fasts every Monday and said, ‘I eat my last meal on Sunday night and don’t eat anything till Tuesday morning.’ Talking about his workout, Akshay said, ‘I do rock climbing, I never lift weights, I like to play a lot of sports, and if you see, my gym… which is actually made for monkeys. I just hang. There are no weights there.’
